Salesforce Administrator

Role Summary

This position will play a key role in supporting the Salesforce functionality and database. This position will be responsible for database maintenance, database hygiene, and overall database strengthening, in addition to creating reports. The person will have to demonstrate innovative, strategic abilities and have strong written and oral communication skills. Salesforce is the backbone of our company, and you will play a key role in enabling the company's success through Salesforce.

Day-to-day

Salesforce

• Manage data loader, templates, profiles, custom objects, object relationships, fields and layouts
• Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality, provide recommendations for process improvements
• Develop reports, dashboards, and conduct analysis to support business operations and event prospecting
• Help drive user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support and training of new and current employees.

Administrative Tasks

• Update contacts based on information provided by internal sources, including address, title/position, and contact information.
• Identify and carry-out database cleaning projects
• Maintain information accuracy and consistency, act as the database Quality Assurance Officer to ensure company-wide database input meets standards.

External research

• Pay consistent and careful attention to current events, international affairs, and the key stakeholders involved so the database can be updated accordingly
• Assist with confidential research of business information
• Assist in conducting research on individuals, corporations, and foundations for prospect activity and in order to maintain integrity of data

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Salesforce Administration experience
• Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
• Ability to build reports, dashboards and workflow rules
• Strong data management abilities (Dataloader)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (must be able to do Vlookup / Index / Match)
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve Salesforce issues
• Manage upgrades, backups, recovery
• Willingness to travel abroad if needed

Nice to have experience

• Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201) certified
• Experience with the Salesforce Lightning platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud
