Job Title: Contract Litigation Attorney Location: Bellevue, Washington Schedule: Full-time Pay Rate: $55-$85/hr. Employment Type: Contract Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Bellevue law firm who is looking for Washington-licensed attorneys to join their team in a contract capacity. Ideal candidates bring at least three years of litigation experience and are comfortable independently managing an active caseload. Landlord/tenant or housing law experience is preferred, but attorneys with broader civil litigation backgrounds and transferable skills are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution, including case strategy, discovery, and deadline management
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and provide practical recommendations regarding case strategy and potential risks
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and other court proceedings
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Ensure compliance with Washington court rules, filing requirements, and procedural deadlines

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Bar membership
• At least three years of litigation experience, preferably involving Washington state courts
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and prioritize competing deadlines
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a legal team
• Landlord/tenant or housing law experience preferred
• Experience managing high-volume caseloads and participating in hearings or mediations is a plus
