Position Summary

The Experience and Development Manager is responsible for driving membership growth, developing community partnerships, and increasing awareness of the credit union's products and services. This position serves as an ambassador for the organization by cultivating relationships with businesses, schools, community organizations, and existing members while identifying new opportunities to expand the credit union's presence within the communities it serves.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, chambers of commerce, and community organizations.
• Identify and pursue new community partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Represent the credit union at community events, networking functions, financial education seminars, and trade shows.
• Promote the credit union's products and services to prospective and existing members.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns and community outreach efforts.
• Build relationships with local businesses to encourage employee membership and participation in credit union programs.
• Assist in planning and executing grand openings, member appreciation events, and community engagement activities.
• Maintain knowledge of all credit union products, services, lending programs, and digital banking solutions.
• Assisting members and potential members with credit union services including opening accounts, adding services, and loans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field preferred .
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in business development, sales, marketing, or financial services.
• Strong networking, relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Being able to travel within the service area.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for event materials and displays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during community events and presentations.
• Occasional evening and weekend work for networking events and community functions.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, being active in the community, and serving as the public face of the credit union while helping drive strategic growth.
