The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport asphalt and related materials to and from job sites while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Coordinate with plant operations, dispatch, and paving crews to ensure timely, efficient deliveries that support asphalt production and placement schedules.What You'll AccomplishSafely operate dump trucks to transport asphalt, aggregates, and related materials to and from job sites in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and other required documentation.Coordinate with dispatch, plant personnel, and paving crews to ensure timely and efficient material delivery.Follow all job site safety procedures, traffic control requirements, and environmental guidelines.Adjust driving and dumping operations based on weather, road conditions, and job site constraints.Ensure proper loading, securement, and unloading of materials to prevent spills or damage.Communicate effectively with the asphalt crew and assist as needed to ensure the safety of the site, crew members, and equipment.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.What We're Looking ForEducation: High school diploma or equivalentRequired Work Experience: Minimum 2 year of dump truck driving experience, preferably in asphalt or construction materials.Travel Requirements: Daily travel required.
